The 2026 Saltbox Descension commences!!! I think this season is going to be extra fun. The reason: In past years, the heroes at Baltimore City DOT (@bmorecitydot) pulled the art panels in the Summer for Juliet Ames (and I) to pick up. This was always so above and beyond on DOT workers’ part. They didn’t ask for this art box thing, but took great care to set the art aside. The field trips to the mothership on Pulaski Hwy with Juliet to pick up the art for Juliet to store and redistribute to the artists were the best day of the year. It didn’t happen this year. That’s awesome in its own way because the last year’s art and graffiti boxes are reshuffled around Baltimore, so you get to see new-to-you pieces like this: Saltbox Art on Rockrose Ave. and Clipper Rd., Woodberry.
